Trip to Đà Lạt

Before the Lunar New Year, my dad and I embarked on an unforgettable motorcycle trip from Ho Chi Minh City to Đà Lạt. The journey lasted three days, but we only stayed for one night. This trip was not just about reaching our destination; it was about the experiences we shared along the way. We set off early in the morning, with the sun just starting to rise over Ho Chi Minh City. As we rode along National Highway 20, the wind blew against our faces, and the sound of the motorcycle made the ride exciting. The road was surrounded by green trees and plants, and as we went higher into the mountains, the view changed a lot. With every mile, we got more excited to reach Đà Lạt, making the trip feel like a real adventure.
After several hours of riding, we finally arrived in Đà Lạt around 5 PM. The cool mountain air was a nice change from the heat of the city. Our first stop was our house, which is close to Đà Lạt. We needed to check on it because someone had damaged our fence. It was a mix of feelings: I was happy to see the familiar place, but I also felt sad about the damage.Once we sorted out the situation at the house, we set out to find a place to stay. We discovered a lovely hotel called Dream Hotel. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax after a long day of travel. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were cozy, providing us with a comfortable retreat for the night. As the evening approached, our stomachs began to rumble. We decided to grab some Vietnamese bánh mì, a delicious and iconic sandwich that never fails to satisfy. We wandered through the bustling walking street, taking in the sights and sounds of Đà Lạt. The pedestrian zone was alive with vendors, street performers, and the aroma of local delicacies. We spent the night exploring, laughing, and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
The next morning, we woke up refreshed and ready for more adventures. Our first stop was the animal café, a unique place where we could interact with various animals while enjoying our coffee(I will write a blog about this later). It was a heartwarming experience, filled with laughter as we played with the furry residents of the café. After our visit, it was time to head back to Ho Chi Minh City. The ride back was filled with reflections on our trip. The memories we created were priceless.
This trip to Đà Lạt was more than just a motorcycle ride; it was a collection of moments that I will cherish forever. The combination of beautiful landscapes, delicious food, and quality time with my dad made it an unforgettable experience. As we rode back home, I felt grateful for the adventure and the memories we created together before the Lunar New Year.
