Badminton Competition
During the last few weeks of my summer break, I took on the exciting challenge of organizing a badminton competition for our club. We chose to hold the competition at the outdoor badminton courts in Vinhomes Central Park. Since it was an open-air venue, one of the biggest challenges was scheduling the event on days with good weather. I carefully monitored the weather forecasts to select days with no rain, ensuring that the matches could proceed without interruption. In preparation for the tournament, I ordered trophies and medals several weeks in advance. These awards featured the Vinhomes Central Park Open logo, adding a professional touch to our club’s event and motivating participants to compete enthusiastically. The competition was a men’s singles tournament for our club members. Each match was thrilling and intense, with players showcasing their skills and determination. The atmosphere was electric as spectators watched close rallies and impressive shots. The matches kept everyone on the edge of their seats, making the event highly enjoyable for players and viewers alike. I also took on the role of referee throughout the competition, ensuring that the games were played fairly and according to the rules. The tournament concluded around 9 PM with an award ceremony where the winner received the trophy and medals. Seeing the joy and pride on the winner’s face made all the preparation worthwhile. Organizing this badminton competition was a rewarding experience that strengthened my leadership and organizational abilities. It also brought our club members closer together through friendly competition and shared passion for the sport.
