Learning Portugese( Brazil )

Three weeks in, and my brain is a chaotic Portuguese word salad. The green owl has me yelling “ABACAXI!” (pineapple) at 7 AM, convinced this is critical for survival. I’ve mastered “pão” (bread), “água” (water), and “oi” (hi), but numbers? Still a mystery. “Vinte” (20) and “vento” (wind) sound identical to me—I’ve accidentally told my cat it’s “windy outside” 7 times.
My Duolingo streak thrives on mishaps:
Polite Panic: I spam “por favor” (please) and “obrigada” (thank you) like a tourist clutching a phrasebook.
Animal Chaos: I mistook “cachorro” (dog) for “carro” (car). Now I whisper “O cachorro dirige um carro?” (Does the dog drive a car?) to practice.
The owl rewards my butchered nasal vowels with confetti and “Parabéns!” (Congratulations!), which I accept as validation. My adventure in learning Portuguese has been a fun and chaotic experience. Despite the mix-ups and misunderstandings, each mishap brings laughter and motivation.
